INSPECTION AND TESTING
Every year many people are killed or injured at work, as a result of inadequate electrical safety measures. These incidents can also cost companies thousands of pounds in compensation and fines.
PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTING (PAT)
Corlett Electrical Engineering carries out Portable Appliance Testing for various customers throughout the Northwest. PAT Testing is a legal requirement under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. This testing ensures that employees and members of the general public are protected from potentially hazardous or dangerous electrical appliances.
Corlett carries out this work on behalf of organisations such as county councils, education departments, industrial and commercial customers.
16TH EDITION PERIODIC AND COMPLETION TESTING
Certain situations may require electrical installations to be tested to ensure they meet specific safety requirements, therefore Corlett Electrical Engineering carries out inspection and testing of electrical installations to BS7671 (Institute of Electrical Engineers Regulations 17th Edition).
Corlett carries out this work on behalf of all customers, whether they are industrial, commercial or domestic.
